Hey everyone! Well, people have been asking us where we've been. Here's the deal: the server that hosted our episodes (betamodradio) has mysteriously disappeared, with nary a word from the guy who runs it. Plus, besides recording the Year 200X record, school, and work, we just haven't had the time to record another episode. And besides, if we did, we don't have anywhere to upload it.

So here's the official 'word'...we're not gone forever, but right now, we're not recording any more episodes. Look for more probably near the new year. But please...keep sending your emails and requests, and we'll be sure to take care of them when we return. Thanks everyone!

-Tim and Tony

Tim and Tony once again return to play the awesome VGM you love with Episode 13. Only this episode, we mix it up with some industrial-ish metal, some jazz, some orchestral, some mellow, and, um, some metal. Listen to brand-spanking new music from Powerglove, the Neskimos, Entertainment System, and Spheres of Chaos, as well as a VG cover from none other than Tim himself. Hear Tony's insights into today's and yesterday's graphics, and check out the regular listener email and website of the weeeeeeeeek section. Don't forget to send us an email to contact@vgmmegacast.com!

Well, here it is. After a couple month's hiatus, we're back with one of our most rocking shows yet. Check out the new (and in the case of the Powerglove song, exclusive) tracks on this episode. Also, Tony gives you a (very) lengthy rundown of upcoming games to keep your "balls open for." Please drop us an email and welcome us back. Hopefully we won't be away for so long again!

So it's been a little while since our last official episode. The main deterrent to Tony and I getting together is the fact that we're both in a band that's throwing a reunion show (called Summer Dying), and aside from the rehearsals, there's the fact that our microphones that we use to record the podcast are in use at the rehearsal space. There's also the fact that we've been, well, damn busy otherwise. Have no fear! We're not gone for good, and we promise, as soon as possible (probably after the SD show, Aug 4), we'll get back into the swing of things. Take care all, and please, still feel free to send in email (contact@vgmmegacast.com), and we'll read it when we return! Tim

Episode 11 is up. Sorry it was a week late, Tim and Tony were at the Video Armageddon 3 show in PA last weekend. We make up for it with a full recap of the show, not to mention playing kick-ass video game covers. Also...we offer up our first real prize for the guess the video game clip, play a brand new Super Dracula song, talk about the future of the Wii, and more!

4.25.07
Behold, Episode 10. This landmark episode is also the longest so far. With the regular listener emails section (send yours to contact@vgmmegacast.com), website of the week section, VG Word with Tony, and 'Guess the video game clip' contest, Episode 10 is sure to not disappoint. Too bad it was a couple of days late.

ARTISTS! Don't forget...if you have any free swag you'd like to send us, we'll give it away as prizes for our guess the clip contest. Free promotion for all!

Yay! Episode 9! We’ve got a new recording setup, so this episode features a few technical improvements. And don’t miss the brand-spanking new Vomitron track! It’s a-ma-zing. Please send any questions or comments to contact@vgmmegacast.com. Thanks…we really appreciate you listening!

3.26.07
Another episode has arrived. We had another guest this time around. Also don't miss GDC news, another 'guess the video game clip' contest, and more. Final swear word count: Tim - 4. Tony - 14. Thanks to everyone who's sent in emails and iTunes reviews. If you like our cast, please tell your friends!

3.12.07
We present to you: Episode 7! Behold it in all it's glory! Or something. We opted for a little less talk and a little more rock this episode. But don't fret, you'll still hear a few gems like spontanious harmonization, and the fact that Tony may be watching you right now, as you read this. Thanks again to everyone for their emails and iTunes reviews. Keep them coming! Also, send in any questions you might have. Don't forget... you can now leave feedback on our website as well.

3.2.07
We've put some pics and stuff about us in the about section. Yay.

2.27.07
We've added a way for you to easily leave us feedback. Check out the contact section!

2.26.07
Episode 6 has arrived. It includes our first ever interview, with Shawn Phase of Temp Sound Solutions. You may recognize Shawn from his article in Nintendo Power Magazine, as the guy who plays with a Power Glove on and has Konami tattoos on his arms. He has 6 video game cover CD's, and we're proud to have him on the show. Also included is another "Guess the video game clip" contest (we're still working on coming up with prizes), and Tony's burps.

2.12.07
Episode 5 is up. OK, so we talked a whole lot this episode. But since no one is complaining, we may continue to talk quite a bit. It makes it a little more fun for us...we just hope you listeners don't mind :) Don't forget to leave us a review on iTunes! Also, as mentioned in this episode, we will have our first interview next episode (ep. 6), with the one, the only, Shawn Phase of Temp Sound Solutions.

1.29.07
Episode 4 is available. We tried a few new things...we had a guest this time around, we included background music under most of the talking parts, and we actually found some real VG news, instead of just talking about whatever we felt like at the time. We had a little issue with clipping on some of the talking bits, but we tried to smooth it out as best we could. PLEASE, send us any comments to contact@vgmmegacast.com.

1.14.07
Episode 3 is up. We seemed to play more post-8-bit stuff this time around. Tim also discusses his experience at MAGfest. Please send us your feedback!

1.2.07
Just a quick post to let you know that Episode 3 is going to be a little late...I realized today that with MAGfest coming up this weekend, there's no way we'll have time to record the new episode until next week at the earliest. But expect a full report from the fest.

12.25.06
Well, Episode 2 has arrived. We seemed to eliminate most of the static and improved the overall recording quality, but if you have any suggestions, please email them to contact@vgmmegacast.com. We also seemed to do a little more talking, let us know if it's too boring or if you like it.

We're up on iTunes now, you can subscribe to us that way by clicking here. You can also download the individual episodes at our website, www.vgmmegacast.com.

We hope everyone had a great holiday!

12.10.06
Episode 1 is now available. We're still working on sound quality, so please excuse the static during the talking bits. Please send any suggestions (other than the static) or requests, we would love to hear them at contact@vgmmegacast.com.

Also, we're not up on iTunes yet, but you can subscribe by pasting our .rss file in your podcatcher. Alternately, you can just download the episode directly to your computer...both methods can be accessed on the 'Episodes' page. Enjoy!

11.28.06
The official VGM Megacast site is up! We hope to have content on all pages soon (especially the 'episodes' page!). If you notice anything not working, please contact us at contact@vgmmegacast.com.
